A common Hardware Development Systemmainframe supports the entire ST7 family ofMCUs, in conjunction with the appropriateST7xxx-DBE Active Probe.

Real-time source level emulation allows viewingand breakpoint setting on high level sourcecode rather than on disassembled target codefor optimum user friendliness.

64 KBytes of user modifiable and configurableemulation RAM, allows memory mapping of allST7 family devices as well as modellinghypothetical memory configurations.

Unlimited breakpoints may be set for any op-code fetch or any address access, andconditions may be defined for the generation of2 external synchronization signals.

1K by 32-bit wide trace memory allows complexand sequential events to be defined on anycombination of address and data, as well as 3internal and 5 external logic signals.

User defined events may trigger a breakpoint orsimply define data capture parameters, inaccordance with user preferences.

Simple connection of the emulator system to theHost PC via parallel port.

Emulation system may be driven by a Windows-based GNU debugger software or DOSsoftware running on host PC, allowing fullcontrol and monitoring of hardware resources.Multiple windows allow concurrent real-timedisplay of source code, MCU resources, internalregisters, trace data, etc.

Log files allow storage and subsequentredisplay of any displayed screen forsubsequent analysis.

Command files can be used to execute a set ofdebugger commands in batch mode.

Editable configuration files ensure tailoring ofworking environment to user preferences.
