开课缘由

（1）上学期辅导学生毕业论文中发现的问题，如：英文标题中所有实词和首词的首字母须大写；中文摘要、关键词的内容和其对应的英文部分在内容上应保持一致。

（2）The significance of thesis writing

《英语教学大纲》明确指出：“毕业论文是考察学生综合能力、评估学生成绩的一个重要方式。”毕业论文写作的优劣是决定学生毕业时可否授予学士学位、获得毕业文凭的重要依据。

（3）毕业论文写作的意义在于：

（1）培养科研创新意识---humanity research/develop the sense of research innovation中学教师评职称、考研学生硕士论文

（2）锻炼思维组织能力: Practise the ability of thinking and organizing

（3）训练语言运用能力: Practise the ability of using language字数最长6000左右

（4）激活知识的输入与输出：Activate the input and output of knowledge

☆☆The nature of BA thesis----academic writing

（1）The definition of thesis

A formal paper incorporating original research on a subject, esp. one presented by a candidate for a degree.

（2）The basic features of BA thesis: Scholarly学术性, formal规范性, original创新性.

☆☆☆The assessing criteria of qualified thesis

（1） Attitude 20%: serious attitude, punctuality, of good teamwork spirit.

（2） The quality of the title 10%: apply to the requirements of major cultivation, of proper difficulty，

manageable

（3） Literature review and the quality of translation 20%: comprehensive, deep and closely related

to the topic

（4） Research and practical level 20%: independent research, clear idea and adequate arguments

（5） The quality of thesis writing 20%: strict structure, coherent language expression, standard form

（6） Academic innovation 10%: of certain innovation and practical value

综合成绩：指导教师(supervisor)30%、评阅教师(reviewer)20%、答辩成绩50%构成。

评分等级：90分以上优秀80-89分良好70-79中等60-69及格60分以下不及格

1、优秀（90-100分）

（1）在毕业论文（设计）工作期间，工作刻苦努力，态度认真，遵守各项纪律，表现出色。

（2）能按时、全面、独立地完成与毕业论文（设计）有关的各项工作，表现出较强的综合分析问题和解决问题的能力。

(3)选题符合专业培养目标，体现学科、专业特点和教学计划的基本要求，达到毕业论文（设计）综合训练的目的。

（4）论文立论正确，理论分析透彻，解决问题方案恰当，结论正确，并有一定创新性，有较高的学术水平或实用价值。

（5）论文使用的概念正确，语言表达准确，结构严谨，条理清楚，逻辑性强。

（6）符合学术论文的基本要求。用语、格式、图表、数据、量和单位、各种资料引用规范化、符合标准。

（7）具有较强的独立查阅并运用文献资料的能力，原始数据搜集得当，实验或计算结果准确可靠。

（8）答辩时，能够简明和正确地阐述论文的主要内容，思路清晰，论点正确。回答问题准确、深入，有自己的见解，有应变能力，有较强的语言表达能力。

2、良好（80-89分）

（1）在毕业论文（设计）工作期间，工作努力，态度认真，遵守各项纪律，表现良好。

（2）能按时、全面、独立地完成与毕业论文（设计）有关的各项工作，具有一定的综合分析问题和解决问题的能力。
