The LME series of DC-DC converters areoptimised for low-power operation. Due tothe low quiescent current they are able tooffer efficiencies up to 75%. The use ofadvanced magnetics ensures a minimalquiescent current of around 2.5mA whichensures that efficiency is maximised in lowpower applications. They are ideally suited to generating a negative supply where only a positive rail exists.
