Suppose a foreigner wants to apply for a job as a teacher in SDU, and he asks you to offer more information about SDU.Please write a letter to him. It incluses: introduction( location, history,ect.),informatin about courses, practical information,student accommodation, canteen and bars,ect.

You asked me to show you more aspects of information objectively in last letter. So I write this letter to you.

Shandong University is a famous college with long history which is founded in 1901, has been over 110 years of history, located in Jinan, is home to several respected people of learning, but also one of the Chinese most famous institutions of higher learning.

Firstly, Shandong University, under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, is a key comprehensive university with a long history, a variety of disciplines, strong academic strength, and distinctive characteristics, which has great influence both at home and abroad.

Secondly, there are at present 13 general disciplines for undergraduates and postgraduates, namely philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, military science, management and arts in our school. It’s widely for you to choose a major.

Thirdly, Shandong University has 6 campus in Jinan and Weihai campus and Qingdao campus is under construction. All the campus are beautiful, I had spend many of that splendid autumn day out of doors on the dormitory of apartment building 6, high on the hill overlooking the rest of the Shandong University.

What’s more, the student accommodation is different from foreign countries. You will share one room with four or six people. The dish in cafeteria is wonderful, including dumplings, noodles, meat, fish, dessert, soup and so on.

Last not the least, bicycle club, roller skating club, anime club, music club, sports club, movie Club will welcome you. If you enjoy acting in plays , join school's thespian club. You will meet more people with the same interest and develop you hobby.
