Work Report

With the development of society, the competition is becoming fiercer. In order to improve the ability of adapting to the society , our school arranged us graduates to go out to work in our sixth semester. I thought it is a good chance to train ourselves. So I start my practice life in Shijiazhuang.

Form March 1st to May 30th, I spent my time at Hebei Overseas International Travel Agency as an intern and I worked as a tour guide there. I have the chance to

experience something quite different from my usual life. I must go to work on time every day, and during the work hours I have a lot of tasks to fulfill. I must be very cautious, for any small mistakes will lead to very serious consequences. If that happens, it’s no use apologizing. The purpose of this is very clear ----to give me a chance to check if I really have gained knowledge during my three years’ college life ;to see if I have been well prepared for my future life, if not ,to know where my strengths and weaknesses lie and improve the strengths and correct the weakness. In a word, the purpose of the internship is to perfect me for my coming career life. As is known to all, A travel agency is a retail business, that sells travel related

products and services to customers, on behalf of suppliers, such as airlines, car rentals, cruise lines, hotels, railways, sightseeing tours and package holidays that combine several products .And our travel agency is famous for exit business ,.There are eight departments in our travel agency and eleven branches in Hebei and I was in

Exhibition center department. My job is receiving guests in the office and ordering plane ticket for customers, and some times I also answered the phone, helping visitors understand traveling route of travel agency or taking tickets for them.

During the three month ,I had learned a lot of things from Mr.chen, our manger.First, Service attitude is very important in tourism. You ought to smile to every person in order to make them finding you are friendly, Including colleagues and customers .I would smile to our colleagues in every day .
